Rick Owens

The silhouettes were primarily black and elongated. We admired ample high-waisted trousers, shirts, jumpers, jackets with draped collars. A strong collection with wool-based jackets, graphic cuts, maxiparkas. An extremely poignant collection.

Issey Miyake

Issey Miyake's first Men's Autumn/Winter Ready-to-Wear 2012 collection celebrates the institution's 20th birthday. We could admire a fine pleated weaving technique along with the one-off presence of polyester-based cotton. Colorful and dressy sportswear which remains nonetheless casual.

John Lawrence Sullivan

In 2003, Arashi Yanagawa launched his brand John Lawrence Sullivan, in reference to the first world boxing champion; Yanagawa was himself a famous boxer. An elegant collection showcasing pure lines, vibrant colours, based on suit tailoring.

Y Project by Yohan Serfaty

To start off the Menswear Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 Paris Fashion Week, we went to the Maison des Métallos for the Y Project by Yohan Serfaty presentation. We saw long collars, scarves which came right up to the ears, tuned over low boots with visible zips… A casual and lovely collection.
